Here's the backstory on the name of choice:
It was the first thing that sounded good together that wasn't taken?
Nah, I joke. A little.

As a Mama, I want to raise children who question authority, who don't believe adults are perfect, who don't believe everything that I tell them, and continue to have that childlike curiosity well into adulthood. I want to raise children who are tolerant, intelligent in a real way, who love the world, who want to be the change, who will fight against ignorance, and bigotry. I want to teach them love, kindness and respect. I want to raise fire starting, question asking, people loving, rebellious children.
Rebellion in the face of positivity can be a good thing. At least I think so.
This blog will be my journey in breaking down the mainstream barriers of parenting, of marriage, and life in general. Like the last, it'll be a chronicle of our sometimes mundane, but beautiful journey in this section of our life. Sometimes it'll be a ranty post about parenting issues, or a passion close to my heart. Occasionally, I'll put in a couple fabulous recipes, because let's face it, any good revolutionary needs a delectable cookie from time to time.
Anyone wanna make me a superhero outfit? ;)
EDITED 04/08/11: The blog name has been changed for good, and while this post is not necessarily applicable regarding the name change, I do love the message. Still rockin' as a rebel Mama, despite the name change!

I'm on it like a bonnet! Teal and brown?
